Why Go

The Alcaicería, beside the cathedral, was the Nasrid silk market; it burned in 1843 and was rebuilt in Moorish style, now full of stalls of lanterns, ceramics and spices.

Across the street, the Corral del Carbón was built in the 14th century as an inn and warehouse for traders, with a carved horseshoe gateway and a courtyard.
