Gondolas from Encamp and Canillo; ski buses run from the capital.

Why Go

Grandvalira links slopes above Encamp, Canillo, Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, with more than 200 kilometers of runs, and gondolas lift skiers straight from town. Pal-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalís, in the northwest valleys, are smaller and quieter.
