The Masters at Augusta

Georgia

Golf's most revered tournament, held every April on the azaleas and pines of Augusta National, with famously cheap pimento cheese sandwiches.

The Masters has been played at Augusta National Golf Club every year since 1934, apart from a few war years. The course is one of the most famous in the world, and a sight for any sports fan, with Amen Corner and the Magnolia Lane drive.

The club is private and closed to the public the rest of the year. Tournament week is the one way in, and phones are banned on the grounds.
