Why Go

The monastery clings to the mountain's jagged pinnacles, and pilgrims queue to touch the Black Madonna, Catalonia's patron saint. The abbey's boys' choir, one of the oldest in Europe, sings on most days.

Funiculars climb higher still to trails along the rock spires and wide views across Catalonia.
