Why Go

Built for the Nazi Party in 1938 as a place to receive guests, the house sits on the Kehlstein above Obersalzberg. Special buses climb a road blasted into the mountain, and an elevator lined with brass rises 124 meters through the rock to the summit, with views far into Austria.
