Why Go

The Adornes family, merchants from Genoa, built the chapel after Anselm Adornes's pilgrimage to the Holy Land, with a copy of Christ's tomb below the altar. A small museum tells the family's story.

Next door, at the Lace Centre, lacemakers work bobbin lace by hand most afternoons.
