Why Go

The Town Hall, built in the 15th century, has a spire 96 meters tall topped by St. Michael slaying a dragon. Most of the guildhalls around it were rebuilt in baroque style within a few years of a French bombardment in 1695, their gables crowned with gold.

Opposite the Town Hall, the King's House holds the Brussels City Museum, where the original Manneken Pis is kept. In August of even years, a carpet of a million flowers covers the square.
