Getting There
Walk from downtown, or the free DASH trolley.

Why Go

The houses of Rainbow Row date from the 1740s and were painted in pastel colors during a 1930s restoration. Walk south of Broad Street for the most beautiful streets: Church, Tradd, Meeting and Legare, with 'single houses' turned sideways to catch the breeze.

Tips

  • The houses are private homes; take photos from the sidewalk.
