Why Go

The Olympic-standard course pumps millions of gallons through concrete rapids of different grades, and Olympic paddlers train here. The center sits in 1,300 acres of woods along the Catawba River, with free concerts on summer evenings.

Tips

  • Entry is free; buy a day pass for unlimited activities, or just watch the rafts from the bridges and grab a drink by the river.
