Culebra and Flamenco Beach

Puerto Rico

A tiny island with Flamenco Beach, often ranked among the world's best, and rusting Navy tanks on the sand.

Flamenco Beach is a long horseshoe of white sand and glassy turquoise water. Old tanks, left by the Navy, sit on the sand and have been painted by local artists.

The rest of Culebra is sleepy and low-rise, with great snorkeling at Carlos Rosario and Tamarindo.
