Why Go

The gardens fill the drained bed of the old Nor' Loch between the Old and New Towns. The Scott Monument, built in honor of the novelist Sir Walter Scott, has 287 steps up to a view of the castle.

In December, the gardens host a Christmas market and a big wheel.
