Getting There
About an hour by car north of Tórshavn, over a mountain road with views of Slættaratindur.

Why Go

The 200-meter gorge runs from the village to the sea, with a slipway where boats are winched up out of the swell. Grass-roofed houses line a stream, and paths climb to the headland for views of the gorge and the seabirds.
