Why Go

This was the seat of the Faroese bishops in the Middle Ages. The roofless walls of St. Magnus Cathedral date from around 1300, and St. Olav's Church, from the 12th century, is still in use. Next door, the timber farmhouse of Kirkjubøargarður has been lived in by the same family for 17 generations.
