Why Go

The old town climbs in ocher and pink tiers to a baroque basilica and a hilltop cemetery with sea views. Lemons grow in the mild climate, celebrated each February with giant sculptures of citrus at the Lemon Festival, and a museum shows the work of Jean Cocteau.
