Why Go

Germany occupied the Channel Islands from 1940 to 1945, the only British soil it held in the war. Prisoners from across Europe dug more than a kilometer of tunnels here for a bomb-proof hospital. The exhibition tells of rationing, collaboration and resistance through the voices of islanders.
