Why Go

Sand is rare on the Croatian coast, but Lumbarda has it: in its beaches, Vela Pržina and Bilin Žal, and in the vineyards where family cellars grow Grk, a dry white made almost nowhere else.

A stone tablet found here in 1877 records the founding of a Greek colony in the 3rd century BC; it's the oldest written document found in Croatia, now in Zagreb.
