Getting There
Cable cars from Stechelberg via Mürren and Birg reach the top in about half an hour.

Why Go

The summit building, Piz Gloria, starred in On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1969, and an exhibition inside tells the story. New cable cars, finished in 2026, include the steepest in the world, from Stechelberg to Mürren, and at the Birg station a cliffside walkway hangs over the drop.
