Kentucky and Indiana

The log cabin Lincoln's said to have been born in, kept inside a marble temple, and the Indiana farm where he grew up.

Lincoln was born near Hodgenville in 1809, and the cabin's kept inside a Greek-style memorial with 56 steps, one for each year of his life, though its authenticity is doubtful. At Knob Creek, he spent his first memories. Lincoln Boyhood, in southern Indiana, is where he grew up, and where his mother is buried.
