Why Go

Built in a neo-Gothic style of iron lace, the lift rises 45 meters to a walkway leading to the Carmo Convent. Its top deck looks over the Baixa to the castle.

Queues are long; you can also walk up via the Chiado and visit the viewpoint from the top.
