Plečnik designed the stone embankments, steps and terraces along the river, along with the Cobblers' Bridge, where shoemakers once had their workshops. The Butchers' Bridge, from 2010, is hung with love locks and bronze sculptures.
Tourist boats run along the river from spring to autumn.
