Why Go

London's fruit and flower market moved out in 1974, and its 1830s market hall now holds shops, cafés and stalls. Performers draw crowds on the piazza in front of St Paul's Church, the actors' church.

The Royal Opera House and the London Transport Museum are on the square, and the theaters of the West End are all around.
