Why Go

Once a royal retreat, the park opened to the public in 1868. Rent a rowing boat on the lake below the Alfonso XII monument, and find the Crystal Palace, an iron-and-glass pavilion of 1887.

With the Paseo del Prado, it was made a World Heritage Site in 2021.
