Oklahoma

Oil made the Osage people rich in the 1920s, and that wealth led to a series of murders that the FBI investigated. The Osage Nation Museum is the country's oldest tribally owned museum. Nearby, the Joseph H. Williams Tallgrass Prairie Preserve has bison, and the Mercantile is a surprising draw.
