The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe sits on a wooded hill above La Crosse, Wisconsin, on the bluffs of the Mississippi valley. Dedicated in 2008, its stone church was built in the classical style of an Italian Renaissance church, with a dome, frescoes and marble.

Paths through 100 acres of woods lead to a rosary walk, the Stations of the Cross, a candle chapel glowing with votive lights, and quiet spots to sit.
