Why Go

The castle on the summit today, the third built there, went up in neo-Gothic style in the 1850s and 1860s for the Hohenzollerns, the family that gave Prussia its kings and Germany its emperors. Its towers crown a cone-shaped hill 855 meters high, and the rooms hold family treasures, including the Prussian royal crown.
