Getting There
About 1 hour by bus or car west of Kiruna to Nikkaluokta, then a walk of 12 miles or a summer boat ride.

Why Go

Its glaciated southern peak has melted so much that the bare northern peak, at about 2,097 meters, is now the highest. Hikers walk in from Nikkaluokta to the mountain station, and climb to the top on a long day's trail.
