Getting There
On St. Petersburg's downtown waterfront, about 30 minutes by car from Tampa.

Why Go

Ohio collectors Reynolds and Eleanor Morse spent four decades collecting Dalí, and St. Petersburg won the right to house it. The 2011 building shows nearly 2,400 works, including seven of his huge 'masterworks', with a garden and a hedge maze outside.

Tips

  • Book a timed ticket ahead and join a free docent tour; they bring the hidden images in the big paintings to life.
