The summit station is being rebuilt. The new Titlis Tower opened on June 5, 2026; until mid-December 2026 the Rotair is closed, a temporary cable car runs to the top, and summit visits are limited to about an hour. The Cliff Walk and the glacier cave stay open.Checked November 6, 2026 · Latest

Getting There
The valley station is a 10-minute walk or short shuttle ride from Engelberg station.

Why Go

From the summit station you look out over hundreds of Alpine peaks. A tunnel leads into an illuminated cave in the glacier, and in summer the Ice Flyer chairlift glides over crevasses to a snow park on the glacier. The Rotair, which opened in 1992, was the world's first rotating cable car.
