Why Go

The main street climbs 605 meters up a limestone ridge to the Piazza Grande, lined with palaces and the town hall tower. Beneath them, cellars carved into the rock age barrels of Vino Nobile. Below the town, the domed church of San Biagio stands alone in a field of cypresses.
