Why Go

The cathedral's roof of 230,000 glazed tiles shows the double-headed eagle of the Habsburgs. Its south tower, 136 meters tall, has 343 steps to a lookout, and a lift rises in the north tower to the great bell, the Pummerin.

Guided tours go down into the catacombs, where Habsburg organs are kept in urns.
