Why Go

Chopin grew up in Warsaw and left at 20, never to return. The museum shows his manuscripts, letters and the last piano he played, with booths to hear his music.

His heart, smuggled home by his sister after his death in Paris, rests in a pillar of the Holy Cross Church on Krakowskie Przedmieście.
