At the bottom of Main Street.

Why Go

City Dock has been the town's port since the 1600s. The Kunta Kinte–Alex Haley Memorial marks where Haley's ancestor, whose story he told in 'Roots', was brought ashore enslaved in 1767. Main Street climbs from the water past 18th-century shops to Church Circle.
