Why Go

The hill rises behind the port, crowned by an 18th-century fortress with views over the city and the sea. Its slopes hold the Olympic ring of 1992, gardens, the Miró foundation and the national art museum.

On set evenings, the Magic Fountain at its foot dances to music and colored light.

Tips

  • Check the Magic Fountain's schedule before you go; it doesn't run every night.
