Why Go

Built in 1969 as a showpiece of East Germany, it's the tallest structure in the country, and its silver ball can be seen from all over the city. The deck at about 200 meters has the widest view in Berlin.

Below it, Alexanderplatz has the World Clock, a meeting point since 1969.
