Why Go

The Old Masters Museum has Pieter Bruegel the Elder's Census at Bethlehem and Fall of the Rebel Angels, the Landscape with the Fall of Icarus, long credited to him, and rooms of Rubens. Jacques-Louis David's Death of Marat hangs here too.

The Magritte Museum, in the same complex, holds more than 200 of the Surrealist's paintings, drawings and photographs.
