Getting There
The patios are spread across the old town; San Basilio, near the Alcázar, has many.

Why Go

For about two weeks in May, dozens of private patios in the old quarters compete for prizes, their walls covered in geraniums and climbing plants. Most are free to enter, and the lines are shortest in the morning. Some patios in San Basilio open for part of the year too.
