Why Go
Finished in 1931, the arch honors about 70,000 Indian soldiers who died for the British Army in the First World War. Thousands of names are carved into it.
It stands at the end of Kartavya Path, the grand avenue from the President's house. Families come out on warm evenings when it's lit, for ice cream and a stroll on the lawns.
