Getting There
About 20 minutes by car west of the airport, through the tunnel.

Why Go

Until a tunnel opened in 2004, the village could be reached only by a steep path over the mountains. Today a short walk from the car park leads to the classic view of Múlafossur waterfall pouring over the cliff into the sea, with the grass-roofed houses behind.
