Why Go
Each of Florence's trade guilds paid for a statue of its patron saint for the outside walls, a showcase of early Renaissance sculpture. The statues outside are copies; the originals are kept in the museum upstairs.
Inside is a jewel-like Gothic tabernacle by Orcagna.
