Why Go

People have mined salt in this valley for about 7,000 years. Tours lead through the tunnels on a mine train and down two long wooden slides, past an underground salt lake and the story of the 'Man in Salt', a prehistoric miner's body found here in 1734.

At the top of the funicular, the Skywalk juts out 350 meters above the rooftops.
