Why Go

Princess Izabela Czartoryska began the collection in 1796 as Poland's first museum. Its star is Leonardo's portrait of Cecilia Gallerani holding an ermine, painted around 1490, one of only four portraits of women by him.

The museum, now part of the National Museum, also shows Rembrandt's Landscape with the Good Samaritan and armor from Poland's wars.
