Why Go

The square has been the heart of the city since the 12th century, with the golden Virgin on her column at its center. The New Town Hall's Glockenspiel plays every day at 11 am and noon, with an extra show at 5 pm from March to October.

A lift climbs the town hall tower for a view over the old town.
