Why Go

Viðey House, finished in 1755, is one of the oldest stone buildings in Iceland. Paths lead across the island to Richard Serra's basalt pillars and to the Imagine Peace Tower, a column of light Yoko Ono built in memory of John Lennon, lit every year from his birthday, October 9, to December 8.
