Why Go
The cable car climbs from St. Leonhard to the Geiereck summit. Trails lead across the plateau to summit crosses and mountain huts, and on clear days the view reaches the Salzkammergut lakes and the Bavarian Alps.
Legend says Charlemagne sleeps inside the mountain, waiting to return.
