Why Go

Founded in the 1850s, San Francisco's Chinatown is the largest outside Asia. Grant Avenue is lined with shops; Stockton Street is where locals buy produce and roast duck. Look for the Tin How Temple, Waverly Place's painted balconies and the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory in Ross Alley.
