Why Go

Most of the Old Town was rebuilt after the city burned in 1813, at the end of the Peninsular War; only the street of 31 de Agosto survived. Today its lanes hold dozens of pintxo bars, each with its specialty, around the arcaded Plaza de la Constitución, whose balconies are numbered from its days as a bullring.
