Getting There
About 30 minutes by bus or car from Sintra; the bus continues to Cascais.

Why Go

A stone cross on the cape bears a line by the poet Camões: here, where the land ends and the sea begins. A lighthouse has shone from the headland since 1772, and paths run along the cliff tops through wild heath.
