Why Go

The octagonal mausoleum built for Diocletian, a persecutor of Christians, became a cathedral in the 7th century, making it one of the oldest cathedral buildings still in use. Its carved wooden doors date from 1214, and the bell tower beside it gives the best view over the palace roofs and the harbor.
