Why Go

About 11 kilometers long, the Lido has sandy beaches facing the Adriatic, grand old hotels and the only roads with cars in Venice. The Venice Film Festival takes over its palace of cinema from late August to early September.

Rent a bike and ride along the sea wall to the fishing village of Malamocco.
