Why Go

Once an imperial hunting ground, the Prater opened to the public in 1766. The Wurstelprater amusement park keeps rides old and new, and the Giant Ferris Wheel turns slowly in its red cabins.

Beyond it, the long chestnut avenue of the Hauptallee is for walking, cycling and riding.
